Booking a mobile notary in Las Vegas means the appointment comes to you: your home, your office, a hotel or another place we agree on. The convenience is real, but a smooth signing still depends on a few details being settled before we arrive.
This is the checklist we share with clients before a visit. It covers what to bring, who needs to be there, how to choose the right meeting spot and what the visit will cost, so your notarization is done right the first time.
Key takeaways
- Bring the complete document and a valid photo ID for every signer.
- Every signer must be present. Arrange witnesses ahead of time if your document needs them.
- Share the exact address plus gate, parking or hotel details when you book.
- Nevada's notary fee is $15 per signature. Travel fees depend on location and are confirmed before your visit.
What a mobile notary does (and doesn't do)
A mobile notary is a notary public who travels to you. The role itself is precise: we verify the identity of each person signing and confirm that they are signing willingly.
What we can't do matters just as much. A notary can't fill in missing pages, change the wording of a document or give legal advice. If something is missing on the day, the signing may have to be rescheduled.
That's why preparation is the single biggest factor in a quick, stress-free appointment. Our mobile notary FAQs answer the most common questions about how a visit works.
Documents and ID to have ready
The complete document
Have the whole document ready, every page, exactly as your attorney, lender or the receiving organization prepared it.
If the organization gave you instructions about signing, witnesses or how to return the paperwork, keep those with the document.
If a document still needs legal preparation or advice, arrange that with the appropriate professional before the visit. For loan and title signings, confirm with your title or escrow contact that the final package will be ready before we meet.
A valid photo ID for every signer
Each signer needs a current, valid photo ID, such as a driver's license or passport. Verifying identity is the heart of every notarization, so this step can't be skipped.
If you're unsure whether an ID will be accepted, ask when you book rather than at the table.
Signers and witnesses
Every person whose signature is being notarized must be present at the agreed time. Tell us how many signers to expect when you book, so we can plan the appointment properly.
Some documents also require witnesses. Check the requirements with whoever prepared the document or will receive it.
If witnesses are needed, let us know in advance. We can provide them for an additional fee.
Signing for a business? An office visit can bring several signers together at one agreed time, which is often the simplest option.
Location, access and a place to sign
Share the exact meeting address. Community names and postal city names don't always match, and the actual address helps us plan travel and timing.
- Gated communities: give us the visitor entrance and arrange access in advance.
- Offices: include parking, reception details and a contact number for the day.
- Hotels: tell us the property name and agree on a meeting place before the appointment.
Wherever we meet, a quiet space with a table works far better than a busy lobby. It gives every signer room to review the paperwork comfortably and privately.
We travel throughout the valley, including Henderson appointments in Green Valley, Anthem, Inspirada and Lake Las Vegas, as well as Summerlin, North Las Vegas and Boulder City.
Documents we notarize most often
Our mobile notary clients range from families and individuals to mortgage lenders, escrow officers, law firms and healthcare organizations. The documents we see most often include:
- Loan, refinance and real estate documents
- Powers of attorney, affidavits and declarations
- Business documents and contracts
- Healthcare directives, wills and trusts
You'll find the full list, including apostille and healthcare documents, on our services page. If you aren't sure whether your document can be notarized, contact us and we'll help.
Mobile visit or remote online notarization?
Not every document needs an in-person meeting. We also offer Remote Online Notarization (RON), sometimes called e-notary services. Using an approved state platform, you join a secure video call with your documents ready.
A mobile visit is usually the better fit when several people are signing, when witnesses are involved, or when you'd simply prefer to meet face to face. If you aren't sure which suits your document, ask when you contact us.
Hours, booking and fees
We're available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
